Lights, camera, shoot!

Had some fun playing around in the studio today with a friend playing model.  

Getting up close and personal with the birds & bees....

Headed to the botanical gardens at 8 am on a very wet Sunday morning.  Best time though to get all those colours and the raindrops on the leaves.  Was gorgeous smelling the rain in the leaves....mmmm...medicine for the soul.

Had a lot of fun playing around with Portraiture over the weekend with make-shift lighting.  Temporarily turned my living area into a studio.  Such fun!

Bicycle made for two...

I have found my dream bicycle!!!  Only problem is that it's sitting in London and the quotes I'm getting to get the thing here is exorbitant!!  Beginning to think it will be cheaper to get on a plane in the new year and go and get the thing myself!


Not such a bad idea...but then I won't have it for the summer holidays.  


So frustrating being on this side of the globe....I've started dreaming about this bicycle!!! It even has the cutest little basket on the front for my little Yorkie.

I feel like Father Christmas with all his pressies and no children to give the pressies to....or a painter with all his gorgeous paints but no canvas.


Here I am all dressed up, excited to start shooting and I've got nothing to shoot.  Aaaagh!!!!  


Feel like putting a 'want' ad out there.  It will read something like this:


"Passionate photographer looking for something to shoot.  Anything. Anyone. Anytime."


I wonder if people will notice me with my camera if I start crashing events...hmmm.

En Pointe with Cape Town City Ballet Company.
