This is where I post photos taken where ever I find myself that moves my soul. Hope you enjoy this visual diary of mine.
As mentioned in my post, I absolutely love France: the music, the history, the pastries, wine and especially the markets and their decor.
Below are links to my posts and photos taken on holiday in France.
Manhattan is such a treat for the eye. Verberating of the buildings of this city, is an energy of time long passed and a rich history that pulsates to a different frequency to that of a European city. It's a city one could get lost in for days, just looking and one often has to remind oneself to look down or at least level with the eye, as one's eye tends to move upwards all the time to glance at the vertical beauty.

St Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, is where my soul heals and gets re-charged. It's a small seaside village that has grown incredibly fast the past few years, much to my dismay. I can still remember with great fondness, when we had to eat by lamp light once the sun had gone down on another lazy day. The hissing sound of the parrafin lamp will always inject a sense of quiet and calmness in me.
Not to sound like an old codger going on about 'the good old days' and all, but it really was (and still is) a gorgeous little piece of heaven. I remember waking up to the cows mooing across the river. At night, when the moon was high and there was only fynbos behind the cottage, if you were still and patient, you could spot a little buck going about its business.
They were the days when we kids and mom would go to bed, leaving a lamp burning in the front window to serve as a marker for my dad, fishing knee-deep in the river.
I've posted some pics of this place - click and have a peek.
