I love England. I just do. The city of London and it's smells and buildings and winding little alleys...and of course the shops...oh and Pret. How I love Pret...
But it's more than that. It's the beauty of the countryside. Enid Blyton's countryside, where fairies dwell, and smugglers hid their treasures. Where adventure and magic abound and children can bicycle down winding lanes and camp out on summer nights on beds made of heather.
How I love thee...
More to come...

I was blessed to be able to spend 10 days in this gorgeous green island a week ago, where I ran around like a crazy person from gallery to museum, to train stations and hotels - and from London to Somerset where my English friends live in the prettiest chocolate box cottage, then back again to London, then to Stratford-upon-Avon (but the reason for that is another story...), then back to London and then it was off to Canterbury and the South East Coast.
Here are some pics taken on my holiday.
